The climate tends to stay warm in the south, and is moderate in the north. Monsoons often occur in the coastal regions in the summer time. They occur at other times as well, but are most violent in the summertime. The nation is made up of almost entirely plains and plateaus. Rain is far more common in the north, allowing for more vegetation to grow. In the south, there are primarily smaller plants and trees as pictured to the left.
